Statement of Intent

Moovment software by Qinematic and/or the consumer grade camera/sensor technology are not intended to be used as medical devices. Moovment software is intended for use by individuals and providers of health, fitness and wellness services in the pursuit of optimal human movement and performance. The Moovment software is not intended to independently diagnosis or propose solutions to any specific disease. It is primarily intended to monitor performance, to enable a service provider and an end-user to exchange information about the performance and any physical exercises proposed by the provider, and to gather additional information via validated health surveys to facilitate the exchange.

The resources and recommendations provided by Qinematic are not intended to serve as a prescribed standard of care, nor define care pathways. 

Individuals and organisations using any Qinematic software, services and support material must determine the appropriate standards of care based on all personal data available for an individual, and recognise that standards may change with time due to advances in science, technology or recommended best practice. Methods and information provided by Qinematic are designed to inform and should be considered guidance only.  

Any medical judgment or prescribed intervention arising from intended or unintended use shall be made or approved by a qualified health professional. Individuals participating in any activities suggested by the software or as a result of using the software do so voluntarily and entirely at their own risk. Using the information or resources provided by Qinematic alone will not ensure a successful outcome in every person, and should be considered in the context of all other factors that may influence a result and all other available methods that target the same result.
